Acro & Tumbling
Acro & Tumbling classes are crafted for students who wish to advance their tumbling and acrobatic skills in a challenging, supportive environment! We’ve taken our phenomenal tumbling & acro program, based in the Acrobatic Arts syllabus, and developed a program to grow your dancer’s acrobatic vocabulary at their individual tumbling skill level! Acro & Tumbling classes are taught by a certified Acrobatic Arts & tumbling instructor on tumbling mats, as well as our sprung dance floor to provide dancers the opportunity to develop technical acrobatics skills on a dance surface. Tumbling classes are offered in 4 levels based on dancer’s skill set, rather than age. Please see the schedule below to find the tumbling class that is most appropriate for your dancer.
The dress code for all Performance Divisions acro & tumbling classes should be any dance or fitness wear that is tight fitting and will not distract from or inhibit proper instruction. Leggings, dance shorts, tank tops, sports bras, and other tighter fitting athletic shirts are appropriate for tumbling classes. Dancers do not wear shoes for Tumbling class.
Skill Requirements by Level
Each of our acro & tumbling classes are based on the appropriate level within the Acrobatic Arts syllabus. For your dancer to enroll in any of these levels, they must be able to demonstrate a specific set of skills as a baseline for each acro level. Please click the link below to read about the Acro level requirements.
